Reporting a copyright takedown
If you believe something available on BFLABEL infringes a right you hold, write to rights@bflabel.com with the word Takedown in the subject line. A notice that can be acted on contains four things.
- The work. What is protected and who owns it — a title, a release, a catalogue number, whatever identifies it beyond doubt.
- Where it is. The address on BFLABEL where the material appears, so that nobody has to search for it.
- Your authority. Whether you hold the right yourself or are acting for the person who does.
- Your details. A name and an address a reply can reach.
A notice missing any of the four usually costs a round of clarifying email, so the extra line is worth writing the first time. Nothing on this page is a substitute for the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, both of which are still being finalised — terms and privacy.
